A Glowing Heart

My soft toy is cute and cuddly,
It keeps me happy rather than sad.
At night
it shines a soft pink glow.

On my tenth birthday,
My friend gave me this bundle of joy.
She was trustworthy
and perfectly nice.
Her name is kindness,
honesty,
and trust.
Inside her lies many secrets
passed from me to her.

When I cannot rest,
this flimsy toy lulls me.
It helps me in many ways,
And not only sleep.
It scares off the monsters,
And welcomes my friend into
the house.
