A Hidden World Of True Beauty

My spiral seashell is a messenger from God.
As I put it to my ear,
I can hear the soft, whispery sound of the sea,
eager to reveal the secrets of the ocean,
about Poseidon,
or about Atlantis.
My spiral seashell is a doorway to the depths of the ocean.
As I finger the rough, white exterior,
it shows me the waves with their foamy, white tips,
rushing in,
bringing treasures,
and swallowing others as they retreat.
It's smooth, pink interior,
shows me the seabed of the ocean.
With colourful coral and tropical fish swimming about,
it is a hidden world of true beauty.
My spiral seashell was found by the hands of my mother,
and given to me.
It reminds me of a wonderful holiday,
a world of secrets,
and is something I can never forget.
