A wooden square frame
Hard, pointy and worn smooth
Blue, white and purple
Memories of great grandma whisper to me, telling me that she loves me
A mint cardigan
It has gotten smaller, trimmed so it can fit into my photo album
I would give it to mum because she would take good care of it and never get rid of it
I would feel sad if it was destroyed because it’s the last picture of my great grandma left
She was generous, she was kind and she was funny
I miss her so much
She died last year, a couple of weeks before my 9th birthday
A great grandma guiding me forever
He photo smiles at me and stares into my soul, telling me to be good and try hard.
