A Poem To Be Spoken Silently

It was so silent that I heard
the clouds blaze away
like a blazing torch.
It was so peaceful that I heard
the blazing fire whisper to his neighbour.
It was so silent that I heard
a tree root
whisper to its neighbour,
“the roots of the trees are strangling the nearby plants”.
It was so still that I felt
a raindrop grin
as it started a thunder storm.
