A safe place

Slowly,
Swiftly,
I say goodbye,
to find somewhere,
somewhere safe,
goodbye, mother tree.
I travel to a new place,
this place with orange flickering lights and thick black smoke,
I see trees burning to their end in the distance,
this place not safe.
I travel to a new place,
this place with deep dirt water,
in the distance I see trees gasping for breath
then being swallowed by dirt water.
This place not safe.
I travel back a distance back,
back to where im familiar,
hello, mother tree.
