As soon as I caught a glimpse of you,

I could feel the gentle breeze of your thought,

Your gentle aura of omniscience,

And smell the wafts of freedom you emitted.

I implored,

‘Let me know,

Of your golden-green life,

To embolden my mind,

And be beholden to you, my friend.’

For you towered above the rest;

I already knew that you sowed life,

And you empowered my admiration,

Shining with vibrant beams of wonder.

You replied,

‘All you need to know,

Is that to simply look at life,

Is not to understand it;

To realise it, you must experience it.’
