Colourful coral and vibrant fish

Boast their spectacle proudly

As all sorts of marine creatures

Teem with life around me.

A seahorse comes up to my ear;

A turtle joins the team,

A thousand tropical fish before me

Like a painter’s wildest dream.

The crowd whispers to me gently,

Murmuring their plea.

They find relief in the dying reefs;

The coral has to be let be.

It provides shelter to many a fish

And safety to many a shore.

Beauty and awe enchant the waters

With coral on their floor.
