Isolated from the world

It sat there all alone

Surrounded just by trees

Its location never known.

A lonely little cottage

Being swallowed by nature,

Long soft grass and vines

It never knew the danger.

The temperature began to rise,

Trees turned into fire.

Those lovely little vines

Made the flames travel higher.

Soon enough there was no cottage left,

No vines up the side,

There was no nature around it

Everything else had died.

I wonder to myself

What that cottage could’ve been,

A home for all animals

A home with secrets within.
