The way you trickle gracefully down rivers,

How you smell cool and fresh.

The way you refresh all the plants on earth,

How you are as clear as glass.

When I hear your angry waves crash onto shore,

I know you’re calling me.

I can feel you lightly tickle on my skin,

In winter you are as frosty as ice.

I can see fish gliding through your still waves,

You’re as refreshing as a summer morning.

Your ocean waters taste salty and sour,

You glisten and sparkle when the sun shines on you.

When ice freezes you over, you sparkle like glitter.

In puddles we splash, jump and play.

As pebbles fall into your depths, ripples rumble over your surface.

Your sparkling diamond droplets hang gracefully from leaves.
