An ocean of loneliness

home to waves as tall as towers

crashing down with immense power

home to multicoloured coral mountains

Home to whales a thousand times bigger than me

home to turtles as small as ants can be

The ocean consuming up a tonne of litter

it tastes worse than a lemon that’s bitter

The ocean is an enormous pool

it is a diamond

Tonnes of animals are dying

Why are humans not trying?
