The gentle tapping of rain

Frail singing of birds

The crunching and crackling of fallen leaves

Blown by the unforgiving winds

Dawn settles in, its shining warmth radiating over the forest

It wakes up the animals, their chorus piercing the silence

The vines creep over the land in their the snake-like appearance

Old as the earth, the trees tower as giants

Staring at the foot, a being so high and mighty

The weight of the whispers fall down like a blanket

Frozen as if locked in ice

The tree ignores my existence
