As life passes by

The wind blowing against my little bunker,
Shaking it down to the rim,
Flopping my ears back and forth.
My slim short tail dragging on the ground,
Slowing me down every step I take,
I take a deep breath,
Feeling the cool air against my skin.
The sun starts to set,
Creating a beautiful hue in the sky.
I close my eyes,
Feeling the warmth of the sun on my face.
I nod off in the cooling of the night air.
I'm content,
Knowing that the sun will shine again tomorrow,
I take a deep breath and drift off to sleep,
Feeling content and serene.
