Australian Bush

The red, dry dirt covering the surface of our land,

the bright, welcoming sun warming up the sand.

Animals waking up, the sun beaming at them, waving hello,

the sun blinding them, "Too bright!", "Don't glow!"

The koalas climbing all around, and kangaroos jumping up and down,

emus running fast, zoom, zoom, kookaburras laughing, hoo, hoo!

Bees and flies buzzing about, the fresh eucalyptus smell needs no snout.

The landscape's incredible, I'll stare at it all day,

it's so pretty, I don't want to leave it, I don't want to go away!

The beautiful colours catching my eye, an admirable artwork, hard to say goodbye.

The Wattle and Pine trees are two that you'll see here,

also some buzzy bees but that's nothing to fear.

The Australian bush is definitely the place to be,

to see the animals and wonderful trees.
