Australia’s heart

Bondi beach is where azure blue water is crashing
In the waves people are splashing
Whilst litter is being washed away
I sure hope the sea turtles can live another day
Soon it will be our lives that are flashing before our eyes
The islands are getting smaller, shrinking in size
Our Great Barrier Reef is definitely in danger
But our marine conservationist are trying to protect our natural nature
Aboriginal people shouldn’t have to fear
But we caused many extinctions to be more and more near
Australian Wildlife conservation has come very far
But mostly because of Steve Irwin, a shining star
Our red hot climate has caused many bushfires
But the awesome firefighters Australia definitely inspires
Aboriginal people have always had a spiritual connection
Now we are standing here, far from perfection
At least we are getting better, that's a start
Soon there will be no hole in Australia's heart
