Autumn

Laying down in the sun so hot,
Watching the leaves fall off the trees,
The bark is as unique as a cheetah's spots,
Feeling the breeze blowing free.
Seeing all the snow clearing up,
Nice to see the long green grass coming back,
We don’t need any more hot chocolate in our cup,
And no more snow is on our track.
Gazing at the green grass, it's a lovely day,
No more frost, no more fog,
While strolling along a rocky pathway,
The breeze is leaping over tons of logs.
Huge silent scavenging birds,
Autumn is now here,
No snow to be heard,
Ice and snow are no longer my fear.
Twigs snapping as they fall,
Red and orange all around me,
Ice-cold wind is dancing high and tall,
But for me autumn is the key.
