The silent sun shows his smiley orange face
Then laughs as he watches small children race.
He loves the beach and visits every single day
As the sand dances and the waves do play.

The sun looks down and the sea becomes his mirror,
When the sun looks afar, he sees the distant river,
The sun watches as the kids bolt to the ice-cream van,
A laugh goes off when he sees others joining, even a man,

The sun examines fluffy clouds starting to disappear,
Whilst the sun watches the silvery stars appear,
As the moon sneaks up to take over the sky,
The sun slowly slips away, saying goodbye.
