Bella

Her thick, cream coloured fur wrapped around a chubby roll of fat
Her pricked up black, velvety ears, her wet nose constantly sniffing around for food
Always there ready to play, cuddle and comfort me
Her short stubby legs running around in circles, and her little spiralled tail wagging like crazy,
I am greeted every day with her great big smile, even her constant snoring makes it worthwhile,
Her beautiful big eyes shine bright when food is in sight, already sitting beside her bowl, staring up at me with her head tilted and her tail wagging,
I hardly get any sleep at night because of her snoring
but she is too cute to be awaken from her slumber
I often wonder about what she would say every time I offer her food or go out to play,
Feed me, feed me is what she would say
or she would just sit wanting to be petted by a gentle, comforting hand, when I brush her, I am covered in soft, smelly pug hair even a few days later I’ll still find it in my hair!
when she hears me filling the dog bath she knows she must run before she gets soaked in a mixture of warm water and bubbles,
she snorts and grumbles and licks me happily as she gets blown with the warm hairdryer
while running around in circles joyously
over the 8 years of owning this happy, crazy and loving pug in my life
the traits in Bella have helped me to become a better person
I look forward to more years of happiness and laughs.
