Beneath The Trees

As I lay beneath the trees
The sunlight in my face
I felt an overwhelming joy
Being in this place
The grass-green leaves swirled around me
Some landing on my head
But still many others beneath me
Like mother nature’s bed
I felt at ease with my surroundings
I felt at peace with the world
And as I lay there while the wind swirled
I felt amazing
I felt elated
I never ever would have rated
Anything as good as this
This amazing bliss
