Boundin' Beasts

The mighty kangaroos, springs in their legs
Jumping, leaping, bounding, with paws on chest
Roos towering sky-high, all turned their heads
They’re fearing the worst, or hoping the best
With a swing of an arm, a slash of claws
The relentless battle has been kicked off
A thump and a bump, a threatening pause
After some time, a splutter and a cough
The roos, bucks, joeys, a bolt from the blue
Heads back down, appetite of destruction
As if nothing hit, no hullabaloo
But alas, yet another disruption
The two-legged monster, the thing's got no fur
Now now, please leave us alone monsieur
