Carving of Osiris

Carved in the earliest days of mankind,
His almond shaped eyes and magnificent crown,
Broken and separated from the rest of his body,
The age does not show, his crown, roughly finished,
Inscribed with ancient words that we may never come to learn,
Eyes of concern, yet strength is still present,
His demanding physique, almost as if he is watching over us,
The God of the Underworld,
