Lakes were magnificent, shades of sapphire,

Rivers fast like lightning

But now they’re black and flow like glue

Lakes are browner than dirt that’s frightening

The earth was beautiful and now it’s ugly

Emerald stretching for miles

Lush life for animals for an eternity

But look around there is no animals to see

Where did all the trees go, oh right you turned them into piles

The earth was beautiful and now it’s ugly

Shifting dunes of blue jade

In the depths, there’s a mystery haven of aid

They were beautiful but now they're 40 % elastic

You can’t see the bottom it’s just a pit of plastic

The earth was beautiful and now it’s ugly
