Change must occur

Years pass by,

Yet no one is bothered to change.

Silly little politicians,

Ruining the present,

Altering the future.

The least you can do is speak,

That’s the minimum.

We all have a voice,

Use it well.

We are improving at turtle speed,

But it’s not quick enough.

Take the stand,

You could be the difference.

Listen up and listen hard,

This is traumatising.

The tall trees no longer sway,

The cheery crickets no longer chirp.

The simplest lines,

Can change history.

You are the difference.
