Charred black koalas.

Their once-white fluffy faces,

now dwelled with tears.

As the blazes of heat grew near and near,

many were lost,

and few survived,

few left,

none to strive.

Now their faces charred and black,

for happiness, they now lack,

they look around, see nothing but terror,

horror horror terror terror,

they see not a speck of green,

no matter how low they must lean.
