In the beautiful sunlight

These jewels shine bright.

How wonderful to see

Their radiant beauty.

They smile and dance

The performance of these plants.

Watching them makes me smile

Memories that had been forgotten for a while.

The giggling, the grinning, all coming back to my head.

“These were there,“ my mother had said.

The sun had already gone to sleep,

Then, the moon started to peep

Into the night sky,

The little jewels waved goodbye.

When I went to bed

I secretly said,

“Goodbye, little flowers, goodbye,

Sleep in peace watching the diamond sky."
