Christmas Eve Waiting

Waiting, waiting for the magical day to come,
Christmas Eve waiting, waiting for my magical bat to come!
Opening my presents - one by one.
I see my bat…
Grabbing it as quickly as I can.
I open up the purple, yellow and white beauty.
Excited as can be.
I run to my backyard testing it out.
Stowed away.
Every Friday out it comes looking as good as new.
Everybody excited to see my bat.
Playing softball, boy can my bat hit!
Balls flying…
Until it all starts again…
