As the wind and the waves lash against the rock,
It grows weaker and weaker
Standing there we feel scared, frail
The waves grow stronger and more violent
The rock face grows weary
Then a final pound against the decayed ledge
It falls, We dive, Cold water
Searching through waves of uncertainty
Searching for comfort
Searching for quiet
Searching for shelter
The cold uncertain waters start to clear
A small spark of hope
The light seep through, my hands feel warmth
But then again
These waters never clear
They diminish your spark
With cold lashing wind
Even if you escape them
They never really leave you
