Once, Buzzing with life,

whimsical wilderness,

 tranquil trees.

Coveted Country.

Now Disastrous decisions,

Devious developers,

malevolent machinery.

Coveted Country

Concrete castles,

catastrophic construction,

faulty foundations.

All alone, I've had to adapt.

Peace and quiet, Ruined by children’s giggles,

Coveted Country

Once there.

Beautiful burram burrang,

pretty Patanga,

and it was Yallembee.

But now it’s Vanished,

Gone.
