Creeks and rivers

Nature surrounds me

As I run down the stream

With the river following me

And the river alike

Animals all around

Laying undisturbed

From the birds chirping

To the snakes slithering

And the lizards lazing

This is the beauty of nature.

Wattle began

Spring was upon us

The sun shining

The smell of the river

Hypnotizing, relaxing, smooth

The sounds surround

The chirping of the birds

The slithering of the snakes

The croaking of the frogs
