The celebration of Spring has arrived
The warmth from the golden sun
Plastered a radiant smile across my face
As I basked in the rays of sunshine

The silent serenity was interrupted
By the light chirps of the awakened birds
Set me at ease despite the noise
Drifted me into a state of slumber

Dirt stuck within my nails
While I tucked my sweet seeds into bed
Hush, hush, my dear darlings
Soothed their cries with a lullaby

The crocuses are delicate dancers
Vivid shades of lavender covered everywhere
As they pirouetted into a fantastic iris hue
Dazzled the audience with hints of gold

The three months have flown by
The memories began to fade and wither
A hollow hole inside my heart
The celebration of Spring has ended
