She is as soft as a sheepdog’s fleecy fur
She is the colour of a rich auburn oak tree
Her gleaming eyes take away my sadness
I long for her to stay with me

Made with the needle from a wiry fence
The thread from the wool of the fluffiest sheep
Button eyes made with winsome plastic
She is excited to take her first peep

She is a caring mother
Never showing any stress
She is brave and adorable
And always encourages me to do my best

When I give her a hug
My spilling tears make a puddle
She was my mum’s
She is a bear and her name is Cuddles
