Deep into far north Queensland, Hidden by the glossy emerald leaves, Splattered with shades of green. Sunlight seeping through the sky, Dappling the ground in patches. The noises of birds chirping and streams trickling. Consuming your mind. The surroundings taking you by awe. But this beauty will not remain. The chopping, gathering, harvesting, taking. Stealing the entire forest until there is nothing left. The ancient trees disappearing before our eyes. This must stop before it is all gone. When will we realise we cannot wait. Say we will stop in 2050, but then it will be too late! There is almost no way back, We must save our forests, So we can feel safe in our future, So we can know a future will exist!
