Small, sweet, little dandelion,
A globe of gold and white,
You're the sun, the stars, and the moon,
A beauty, unhidden,
Small, sweet, little dandelion,
Moon for the grey spheres of promise,
Sun for your final form, a beacon of light,
Stars for the pieces of your soul that leave you forever,
Small, sweet, little dandelion,
Why did you leave me alone?
You were my safe space, my true love,
But now you are gone,
Small, sweet, little dandelion,
Let me hold you once more,
Plant your seeds all in my garden,
So I have a piece of you forever.
