Danger

Galahs sing wildly,
Stringy trees wave in the breeze,
Boiling.
Koalas crawl to their safety as their hands grip the rough bark.
Suddenly a hot breeze sweeps in.
The beast growls.
Trees fall with a loud thud.
A deadly creature crawls towards its prey.
Birds fly away, higher and higher.
It's too late.
The deadly beast wins the battle.
The beast calms down and drifts away.
Sirens blow.
The bark crunches under footsteps,
Help is here.
Koalas drink.
Galahs land on branches and sing wildly,
They're safe.
But marks are printed all over scattered trees.
It's not safe any longer.
