Waves, frothy, white like snow
Turning, tumbling, down I go
Dragging, hauling, snarling at me
Fading light the last I’ll see

Knowing, thinking my time has gone
Last of my air running to dawn
Watching, waiting, silver they glow
Then tossing, turning to depths below

Silent as thunder, sea turns to rage
Thunder, lightening still engage
Roaring loud, but won’t break my gaze
Cold, unmoving, dark eyes glaze

Life is gone but body still warm
Drifted away like clouds to a storm
Depths of ocean, welcome me home
Laying me to rest in the unknown
