The Tassie Devil,

Its thick luxious coat,

Teeth jagged; unlevel.

He looks innocent until he slits your throat.

Its ferocious bite,

Gives predators a fright.

They crush your bones,

Rampage animals' homes.

They scream as if being killed,

Us humans are thrilled.

''Wow, that's such a cool mammal'',

You glance over at it; devouring bones of what looks like a camel.

It's a vicious creature,

Yet we find it so fascinating.

Tasmanian Devils; they are violent,

Yet important.
