Dingo in the Fire

I’m fearless like a lion

But today it wasn’t on.

When the fire spread out

I was scared like a pup.

The fire as bright as the sun

Some things can’t be undone.

With a burnt house

Like a dead mouse

I waited for the fire to cool

Waiting by the moon pool.
