North,

The rustling leaves filled my ears.

Birds chirp in the distance,

Gum tree shedding its bark, it has been for years.

Green, bright, peaceful.

East,

The main attraction, a single tree.

With glistening, bark, it truly is a wonder,

Sitting below it, you can truly be free.

Green, bright, peaceful.

South,

I spy a bird swooping through the sky.

Grass underfoot crunches,

You’ll see a lake if you fly.

Green, bright, peaceful.

West,

Jacaranda, maple, banksia, bottlebrush, wattle is what I see.

Looking over the deep green leaves,

Is an endless bright blue sky that goes on for eternity, as we all agree.

Nature is green, bright and peaceful.
