An invisible horizon,

Covered by night’s heavy blanket

With small white specks

And a large crescent moon

Is awakened by the sound

Of disembark.

The sea is snoozing soundly

But the harbour is still wide awake

Dreaming of its future foreigners.

And the almighty voyager, traveller

Is preparing for its journey

Of disembark.

Now the gulls are waking

To the nostalgic sea air

And our voyager is ready.

Like a slingshot, it releases

Into the translucent horizon

Of disembark.
