Previous days, forests had a story to tell.
Of aging afternoon, and sapphire sky with rivers that fell.
Of majestic mountains, forever soaring high,
Beneath a night sky, glittering stars that shimmered by.

And now the wind wailing tells a tale of despair.
Melting glaciers, year by year, the ocean’s tears.

The warming tide, forcing coral to fade
And all creatures quickly flee and evade.

Yet hope rises with the new spring’s green,
Hearts and hands joined, a different scene.
To plant, to share the air, to save, and to repair,
To the path of kindness and care.

In each considerate, merited step,
In each voice, another warrior Earth has kept.
Together we will make the future to last,
In every part of our lives, our fantasy cast.

Let our spirits soar when we answer the call.
To restore the magnificence of the earth once more.
