Eclipse

Wind severed darkness
Project your melancholy
through sheets of obsidian
When the world slips from Light's reign
the sole, ink splashed porcelain star listens and commands
The tide heeds before such a rarity
and the moon-drunk creatures intoxicate
The leaves rustle in unity, like a sprint against the wind
And the ghosts of dead tree remains howl their sorrow with the gale
'tis only heaven in which such balance lives for eternity
So farewell, to the fraction of night within day,
Farewell to the viridian ferns and navy seas
Though the waves rise in protest and the owl hoots its woe
Emerge once more they plead
Once more oh beautiful solar eclipse
