Gilbert's Potoroo has long hind legs and front feet with curved claws
Is found at Two Peoples nature reserve
Live 7 years in the wild and 12 in captivity
But it has an almost hairless tail
Eat small insects and flesh like fruit

Their main threats are fire, feral predators and climate change
Sometimes it's called Rat Kangaroo or ngilkat
Predators include cats and foxes

They have a thin curved snout that it uses to smell its surroundings
