Broken and battered
Shattered to countless pieces
So many emotions yet it is not sentient
Its beauty unparalleled as it fell from the sky
So many people gazing up towards the sky
Just to see this amazing object speeding by
It traversed thousands of kilometres
Over seas and lands at supersonic speeds
As it travelled through the atmosphere
It was separated from its brothers and sisters
As it fell to its final resting place
Bringing new beginnings to the Earth
