Fame

Fame, a thing that’s always been there.
Some get it by doing things others wouldn’t dare,
Most get it by being cool
others from being a fool.
Some get fame from being funny,
others for owning a prize bunny.
In ancient times for killing a beast,
or if you could, eating a huge feast.
Fame may come from being a pioneer
or if you face your greatest fear.
Maybe for creating the portaloo,
or for being able to dance like Red-Foo.
It could be you are famous for being a “nerd”
or for being as beautiful as a bird.
Maybe for owning a fancy car,
or for simply being a star!
