Night descends and feline form
The shadows take,
Until the dawn.
Hidden beneath the overgrown vines,
She sees her prey,
Many kinds.
She perches high upon a fence,
Her pounce begins,
Muscles tense.
She gracefully leaps into the sky,
Her prey calls out,
A final cry.
She drags her dinner back to the wall,
She eats her meal,
Bones and all.
