Blue waters as glistening as a pearl

fish, whales, dolphins, penguins

all free to roam in peace

the poor innocent creatures

now persisting, not to drown in plastic

the dilemma we caused the seas

the seas which we polluted

the appalling choice we made between life or death

supplying these animals homes with debris

Innocent, indigent, immaterial creatures we’re forcing dead

Our litter we’re throwing into our neighbour's home

We’re sharing this stunning home with these pure fauna

Each year

Over 1 million seabirds die

While our civilians watch on

We need to protect

Not inject our harm

Salvage our only ocean
