Fire

Fire rages, fire burns, takes down things it shouldn’t

Habitats all burned away, ecosystems crumbed

Threatened species left to die, biodiversity neglected

Fire starts in many ways and some of us can use it

For when we can’t, life feels dull, and everything is tiring

It feels so much like life relies on fire

I wonder when we’ll realise that our situation’s dire!
