Fire Will Burn

We run to the bay and
Wait for the fire
To expire
Blood red no heads
The trees are all burnt black
Nothing is left just ash and smoke
The fire spreads through my roots
Spreading through the ground
Reaching others roots
I was brown but now I frown
As I burn down into the ground
Now all that's left is my ashes as
The kids who once ran past and around me
Now are gone never I am going to experience it again.
