Flashbacks

The bush is cold and hot at the same time wondering why it's like that.
In the distance I can hear everything from a snake to an ant seeking food.
But for a split second I can hear a campfire sizzling and popping,
families singing, roasting marshmallows, I can almost taste it.
It gives me flashbacks.
