They smell like sweat,
They were clean at first.
They're like a cheetah sprinting super fast
Across the open Savannah plains, chasing its prey.
Covered in dry grass from hard work on the field.
When I play they feel like gloves,
They fit my feet so wonderfully.
My boot is a zebra running all the time.
They make a thump when I run and a boom when I kick.
When I put them on they make me feel fired up.
They look like the sky all white and blue but now kind of brown too.
They’re like a lion hunting in numbers.
Their 40 studs grip the ground enough for me to run around.
These are the reasons why I treasure you, always there ready to play.
