Here, I present an ode,

To the bees, I offer,

Because truly it is owed,

That we recognize their efforts.

To the bees,

I ask for your pity,

Because not everyone can see

Your importance in our society.

And for the bees, I beg,

I beg you do not go,

For how am I to forget

The flora of our home?

Do you expect me to simply reminisce

On the wild and wonderous flowers?

Or do you think I am an idiot,

Who offers the bees a poem?

Because an idiot, I'd rather be,

Than someone who lives dully,

In a home with no flowers, trees, fruits, and especially no bees.
